It’s not all raw seal and whale fat in Nunavut’s capital. The dining scene, in general, is pretty good—if you want to have a good char-burger, Iqaluit’s the place to do it. But if novelty ain’t gonna cut it and you’re really hankering for some down-home, southern-style barbecue, well, Iqaluit’s got that too.

Big Racks BBQ boasts smoked chicken dinners, Texas beef brisket sandwiches, pulled pork, ribs—and even Halifax-style donairs if your tastebuds yearn a little more towards the southeast.
