Caribou Crossing Coffee: Wash down a cranberry pecan cinnamon bun with a birch syrup latte at Yukon’s finest and funkiest coffee shop in Carcross.

Tagish Lake Resort: Indulge in stunning mountain views across Tagish Lake, exquisite craftsmanship of the rustic wood dining room and the gobsmackingly-good grub offered by their Swiss chef.

The Jackalope Clubroom: Find fresh flavours at the Marsh Lake Community Centre every Friday night prepared by talented Finnish chef Jaana Schall. Only $20 for à la carte delectables like schnitzel, homemade spätzle and strawberry shortcake.

Six Mile River Resort: Everything is made from scratch at this “slow-food” gem in Tagish. Try their juicy halibut burgers on fresh-baked focaccia or one of many gourmet pizzas or calzones. It’s worth the wait.

The Cutoff Restaurant: With a view of junkyards, abandoned cabins and a highway intersection, owners of The Cutoff outside Whitehorse offer “truck-stop chic” like mouth-watering pulled-pork sandwiches, scotch eggs, and Guinness onion rings.
