Where To Get A Beer?

There are restrictions on liquor across Nunavut and only three communities where you can buy a beer or a glass of wine at a licensed establishment. A beer and wine store recently opened in Iqaluit and the capital city has a variety of bars, lounges and restaurants where you can get a drink. In Cambridge Bay, the Elk’s opens up Tuesdays, Fridays and every second Saturday night. In Rankin Inlet, you can go to the Legion four nights a week. (If you’re staying at the Siniktarvik Hotel, you can have a drink in its licensed lounge.)
